SNAFU is a piece for 2-channel fixed media written in MaxMSP that explores groove, rhythm, and meter. The piece is mostly generative, meaning that all of the distinct timbres and melodies were not pre-composed, but rather created live through various algorithms. The exception is the form of the piece, which uses a variety of Risset Rhythms and metric modulations to traverse different tempos and meters.
